What to Expect

Friendly, Laid Back Environment
Don’t worry, you won’t be asked to raise your hand or share your life story on stage just because you’re a visitor. Participate as much or as little as you want to.  Just grab a cup of coffee, meet some people and enjoy the service.

Casual Dress
Dress comfortably and be yourself. We’re more concerned with what happens on the inside of people rather than their external appearance.

The Service
We strive to create an environment for worship where people are encouraged to experience the presence of God.  Our music style is an expression of contemporary culture yet is driven by lyrics that reflect our reverence to an awesome and holy God.  Our messages are Bible based and offer practical insights to relevant issues that concern people in every walk of life.  We want your worship experience at Northwood Assembly to be one of the best hours of your week!

Nursery
A nursery for children between the ages of six weeks and three years is available for all services. To help ease parental concerns, we utilize a central registration desk to sign your child in and collect their security tag. Our nursery is located in the Chapel Building.

Connecting
One of our main goals for every Sunday service is that people will be able to connect with the Word of God as well as each other. We invite you to fill out a visitor’s profile located on the bulletin flap; turn it in by either placing the completed form in the offering bag or resource table located at the rear of the building. This is our way of knowing who you are, what kind of needs you might have, group areas you are interested in, and most importantly, how we can serve you better.

God
Our main goal is to glorify God and as we do we will experience God's saving grace. Though we strive to make each service enjoyable for everyone, our ultimate desire is that God is glorified and receives our utmost attention. We hope Northwood can be a catalyst in helping you to experience the joy in getting to know your Creator and more importantly, what He has done for you.
